Fade Away is the new single released from up and coming artist, Dezabel. Since 2019, Bilgi has been working under the stage name of Dezabel, producing all his own songs in rural Oberwil, near to Zurich.
Having studied at the former Academy of Contemporary Music in Zurich during the 1990s, Bilgi has developed a keen seen of musicality and songwriting, something which is clearly evident throughout his songs.
After suffering from two strokes, he decided to change his lifestyle and, in 2014, ensured that part of his life was dedicated to his passion, music. This year saw him develop a new project, ‘Project 8309,’ which ensures that local artists are supported voluntarily. Currently, they have over 2 million visits to their YouTube channel and over 4,000 subscribers.
In 2017, Bilgi studied ‘Songwriting and Music Production,’ at Berklee College of Music, gaining invaluable skills that have no doubt helped to further develop his music immensely.
Dezabel describes his music as ‘when Zurich meets L.A.’ and is a fusion of RnB, Jazz, and pop music.
Fade Away is an infectious electric-pop tune that is sure to have many listeners hooked from the first listen.
Opening the track is a soulful lyric track and backing guitar riff. Once the catchy backbeat comes in, we are first introduced to what makes this track so danceable. The sincere lyricism refers to relationship trouble and is something that many will relate to. One of the most significant elements of this track is the female’s hypnotic voice throughout, perfectly encapsulating the rhythmic and emotional elements of the song.
