Non-binary Alternative Pop artist Kat Cunning has recently put out their new single “Could Be Good”. This precursor to their EP, Idol Hands. The song is sweet and meaningful on top of being beautifully put together. Not only does it represent the intricacies of love in non-heteronormative settings, it is an amazing representation of Cunning’s ability.
“Could Be Good” is a gorgeous representation of queer expression in a heteronormative society. Cunning simply expresses their own emotions about relationships and getting to know someone in an intimate setting. On top of being an easy listen, it is unobtrusively political in its own sense.
On top of being an amazing musician, Cunning has a collection of artistic ventures under their belt. With a career based in dance, they have found their way into music, acting and several other artistic ventures. Their creativity seems to know no bounds.
Kat Cunning is an amazing artist with a gorgeous voice. Their talent and charisma is palpable through the music they have released in the past and this new project is no different. It would be a mistake not to check out “Could Be Good” and keeping an eye out for Idol Hands is a must.
