Los Angeles based rock band, Love Ghost, released their new single I’ll Be Fine on May 8th.
Love Ghost comprises five young musicians fashioning a traditional rock band setup; Vocals, guitars, bass, drum kit and keyboards. The group are currently working on their new album with Danny Saber as their producer, someone who has produced the likes of Rolling Stones and David Bowie.
I’ll Be Fine opens with a dark guitar riff utilizing heavy reverb, setting the tone for the rest of the track. If you are a fan of Metallic, then this could be to your liking also. This track fuses heavy guitar with electronic backbeats, displaying the band’s ability to bring rock music back into the current musical landscape. I’ll Be Fine’s emotional lyricism deals with themes of depression and loneliness that, coupled with the somber musical accompaniment, produces an overall melancholic piece of work. The band noted that as May is mental health awareness month, the release date of I’ll Be Fine is perfectly timed. They “hope this song gives hope to all who are struggling.”
