An up and coming R&B artist, Sam Loid is on his way to the top with his newest EP, colors. This project showcases his gorgeous lyricism and the sheer talent he possesses. With eight songs, he is able to share a variety of his abilities as an artist. Loid has done an amazing job with his EP and is continuing to grow as a musician.
Songs on this album feature a smooth, easy to listen to sound and Loid’s amazing vocals. The tracks are emotional and bold while remaining calm and casual. As each song passes on, you can hear the unique differences between them, but the EP flows together perfectly. It is a gorgeous and wonderfully put together project.
Loid takes inspiration from a collection of artistic legends from his chosen genre. He began writing music when he was only in high school and has since been building up his abilities and perfecting his unique style.
colors is a reflection of the last year that Loid has experienced. Being surrounded by a world in a pandemic, it has been hard on all of us. His expression of the experience is beautiful and certainly worth checking out. It will be an amazing addition to any new playlist.
