Tank and The Bangas are an R&B/Hip Hop band with a variety of accolades behind them including being the winners of the 2017 NPR Tiny Desk Contest and being a nominee for Best New Artist in the 2020 Grammy Awards. This band has an electric presence and does amazing work while creating music, even in the age of a pandemic.
Most Recently, they have released their latest single “Self Care,” a track that focuses on the importance of taking care of yourself, whether it is mental, physical or spiritual. The track is fun and lighthearted while still focusing on such an important topic. It’s a true masterpiece. Their other recent project, an EP called Friend Goals, which releases on November 20, 2020, is an exciting collection of tracks featuring a selection of other artists, including Duckwrth on “Fluff” and PJ Morgan on “TSA.”
