Misery opens with the track The Unloveable.  The emotionally driven lyrics in this track are shedding light on Blade’s personal experience with depression and the hardship that comes along with this.  With a simple, acoustic guitar accompaniment and stripped back vocals, The Unloveable will provide a touching experience for anyone struggling with difficult emotions right now.

The Widow, a track with jazzy chords in the piano accompaniment, and gospel style backing vocals takes us in a different direction.  Yet, it still displays the consistent impassioned theme that is evident throughout the rest of the album.  The Widow truly demonstrates Blade’s unique and highly musical expression.

The delicate style of musicality displayed throughout Misery will touch every listener.  It is highly recommended to listen to the EP in its entirety using headphones, for a truly intimate experience.
