The High Chameleons formed in 2012 in Seattle, and are heavily influenced by the local music scene of the ’80s and ’90s within the city. Not only this, but the band’s music takes a lot of inspiration from the British rock music scene during these eras also. If this sounds like something you would fancy then definitely check them out! The band describes their music as a ‘kaleidoscope of emotions,’ mixing electronic dance music with heavy and sincere rock elements. The High Chameleons unique sound fuses the Manchester rave scene with live rock instruments, and various vocal flairs taken from Hip Hop to punk to alternative rock.
The White Spider is a single from The High Chameleons that was ‘written about the faces of temptation that lead us astray.’ Mixing EDM beats with an old school Hip Hop vocal style and a rock electric guitar, The White Spider certainly encapsulates all of The High Chameleons sound in one.
The Himalayas is another track from the band that fuses perfectly a variety of musical styles into one polished package.
