Future Bond is the new EP from up and coming artist, Violet Dusk. Having been compared to artists such as Billie Eilish, Lorde, and Lana del Rey, Violet Dusk’s new album is sure to position her within the pop music scene of the great female artists.
Violet Dusk has been interested in music since the very young age of 5, when she focused on vocal training. Over the years, she played in bands and began writing her own music. Having studied at Manchester Community College, Violet Dusk further developed her knowledge of composition, performance, and vocal technique.
2020 saw Violet Dusk embarking on her solo career. Futurebound was written and recorded in 2020, and released on January 6th 2021.
Futurebound includes four tracks of a lofi pop/dream pop nature. Each song is part of a much larger story, hoping to ‘encompass the beauty of vulnerability.’ Each song displays the artist’s ability to capture sincere lyricism and emotion, all neatly packaged in a great pop piece. Dealing with themes such as heartbreak, Violet Dusk’s musical writing is poignant and sophisticated.
