“Both Ways” by Electro-Pop duo “Wire and Wasteland” is a gorgeous, ambient track from their upcoming EP “Return to the Light”, out in February of 2020. The inspiration behind the track is finding your own path to enlightenment and staying true to yourself.
The accompanying music video, shot by award-winning filmmaker Natalie Bible features visually striking imagery, from shots of black gown-clad women to sun-drenched bedrooms. Each frame offers a glimpse into an untold story, reflecting the endless, varying journeys humans take through life. ‘Wire and Wasteland’ consists of UK-based vocalist/songwriter Julie Straw and Illinois-based producer/composer Em Baker.
Wire & Wasteland is an electronic pop duo formed in 2019 by vocalist/songwriter Julie Straw and producer/composer Em Baker. ‘Both Ways’ is their first music video release and was directed and edited by award-winning filmmaker Natalie Bible’. The duo’s first EP, Return to the Light, will be released on February 14th, 2020. Julie and Em both have solo projects as well – Julie’s electronic project is called Pinklogik, and Em’s dark electro project is called P’like.
