BeatsMadebyFresh (Christian Frazier), who goes by ‘Fresh’ for short, is an LA based producer, musician, and song writer raised in Midtown Los Angeles. His musical influences begin in the home, trailing all the way back to his mother and late father, two naturally and professionally gifted musicians, singers, and song writers. Each track produced by Fresh is constructed with intricate detailing catered to the artist and a signature soulful sound at each beats core, which Fresh achieves by utilizing his musicianship in keys, drums, guitar, and bass. At times, he even utilizes his natural vocal gifting to add abstract background vocals to the tracks for his artists. His soulful creations have landed him several placements on a variety of entertainment shows such as Love&Hip Hop: Hollywood, Black&Sexy TV, and a Bevel shaving advertisement via social media, amongst other successes.
Aside from his local accomplishments his music is reaching the masses both overseas and across the nation, with rising hit songs like Money Piling by Hollywood YC and Johnny Cinco, locally acclaimed Atlanta artists. His signature soulful sound allows him to transition through Hip-Hop, RnB, Neo-Soul, Trap, Pop, and other genres with ease. Being a producer out of the 1500 or Nothin’ camp, Fresh is constantly surrounded by veteran producers and receives direct mentorship from Grammy Award winning and nominated producers, such as Larrance ‘Rance’ Dopson, CEO of 1500 or Nothin’. Fresh’s musical portfolio includes artists such as Teeflii, Casey Veggies, Tink, Hazel-E, and a host of other amazing and upcoming artists. His musical arrangements are alluring, energizing, and inevitably will land him several Grammy nominations and awards in the very near future.

For those who don’t know, how long have you been making music and how would you describe your style?
I’ve been doing music all my life. I was born into it. My style is very soulful and smooth. I love jazz ,hiphop, and R&B so my style is a blend between the three.
Could you briefly describe your music making process?
My creating process is something I can’t put into words really. I just go with the flow of things. For the most part I start with playing the keys and once I get a vibe going I build from there. As simple and plain as that sounds it’s more magical when you get to experience my creative process in person.
What can you tell us about your latest release, “Liquid Relaxation?”
My latest release “Liquid Relaxation” is my first project I’ve released on my own. It’s a blend of soulful hiphop/R&B vibes. All tracks are instrumental and some even have a hint of some vocal melody’s tucked away in the background. This project is the first of many for me.
If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would you choose?
If I could collaborate with any artist It would definitely be Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick is one of my favorite artist out right now. I think with his style and my sound we could create something super dope.
What do you have planned creatively for the upcoming year?
For the rest of the year I plan to create and release new music. I have some things in the works with a few artist that will be released this year as well.
