– What inspired you to start making music?
I think music is amazing, without music there would be no colors in our lives. I make music because I love art and I think creating music expresses some part of myself and when people enjoy it, it makes me think that perhaps we can resonate together.
Music brings people together, a happy music can bring a group of people be happy without saying anything, a sad music can do the same as well. That is the beauty of music, and I think that is one thing that is truly beautiful about it, and it truly inspires me.
– How would you describe your music to people who may be unfamiliar?
Well I think music is music, if you enjoy it that’s great. However, if I must describe, SUSHISABI is a song that is designed after taking inspiration of a full course sushi set meal along with its culture converted into music.
– What can you tell us about your latest track ‘Sushisabi’? How did the track come about?
It was from my huge interests in Japan when I was 17 due to my passion to study in Japan. I studied their language, watched their anime and probably played most of their games when I was young.
The cars and a lot of major technologies are from Japan and it is truly amazing really. Sushi is one of the food that many Japanese trained almost their whole lives for it.
Imagine spending a decade just to perfect the craft of one food ‘sushi’. To me it is no longer a food, it is a culture, it represents passion and it is art, hence the song.
– What do you have on the horizon for the remainder of 2020 or 2021?
I will try my best to promote my song! It is one of my proudest creations after all!
Maybe on 2021 I will have more music with other local artists, but for sure I will strive to create more music for people to enjoy HAHAHA. It is something I enjoy doing of course.
