For those who don’t know, how long have you been making music and how would you describe your style?
My style is a mix of pop, reggaeton and electronic music. I identify it with “Moombahton”. Dark drums, horns and dirty synths are what makes my music identifiable. I have been making music since I was 4 years old. I use to create songs about cups or things that were around my house. Now, I make songs about feels, change , fun and revolution.

Could you briefly describe your music making process?
I usually write songs with my musical partner, with a group or by myself. When I write songs it usually comes from some thing I feel very strongly about in that moment. Whether it be about love, anger, world division, or something that’s situation going on during my personal life. I know people tend to say to keep your secrets close to you but we are an open book and my songs are like a diary into what I feel. I’m not afraid to be honest.

What can you tell us about your latest single:
Rómpela y Calla is about something completely brand new in my artistry. It’s kind of like my coming out song, saying “hey, we’re going to break the rules for a better cause”. Throughout history women specifically have had to do things sneakily in order to make a change in the world. The words “Rómpela” means “break the rules” but be sneaky about it be quiet about it. Due to social expectations and gender divide throughout history many prominent females accomplished the history making things they did by sneaking around and breaking the rules because they weren’t allowed to do those things. Now we are creating a revolution through music.

If you could collaborate with any artist, past or present, who would you choose?
I think some of the artist I would love to collaborate with is Serj Tankian from System of a Down, Ozuna, Shakira, Inna, Bad Bunny, Rosalia and last but not least Maitre Gim’s.

What do you have planned creatively for the upcoming year?
“Rómpela y Calla” was the first song to start this brand new big project. Sonnemm and I will be releasing a song every other month or so. We are releasing cohesive material with the same story in the same world that we are trying to represent. Wear your scars proudly!
